AKC CGC Classes
As a certified AKC CGC Evaluator, I provide a variety of different AKC Group Classes that include AKC STAR Puppy, AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Urban Canine, AKC Community Canine, and AKC Trick Dog.

AKC CGC Classes
AKC STAR Puppy
This class is for puppies up to a year old and teaches you and your puppy foundational skills, such as sit, down, and come.
This class is geared toward the AKC STAR Puppy Test and includes practice for all 20 test items. Â This is a 6-week course.
Puppies, in order to participate, must be up-to-date and current on vaccinations.
Each session will have handouts with information about the skills covered in class.
AKC Canine Good Citizen Class
This class is for dogs 1 year and older. This is a 6-week program that is geared toward preparing your dog for the 10 items on the CGC test. Requirements include previous experience in a basic obedience course and a registered AKC Number (PALS or AKC Partners are acceptable).
Each session will include handouts that cover information and skills learned during class.
AKC Community Canine Class
This class is for dogs who have received their AKC CGC Title and is geared toward the 10 test items. Requirements include a registered AKC Number (PALS or AKC Partners are acceptable) and have a CGC Title.
Each session will include handouts with information about the skills covered in class.
We will meet for 4 sessions over a 4 week period. Each session will last 45 minutes to an hour.
AKC Urban Canine
This class is for dogs who have received their AKC CGC Title and is geared toward the 10 items on the test. Requirements include a registered AKC Number (PALS or AKC Partners are acceptable) and a CGC Title.
We will meet for 4 sessions that will last 45 minutes to an hour. Each session will include a handout that has information on all the skills covered during class.
